Last year we produced beers that we are really proud of, had the best time collaborating with Sophie Potter on our label art, worked with lots of friends, made new friends, celebrated a big birthday and laid a bunch of groundwork for 2025.
We have had the joy of working with Closet, Pastore, Little Earth Project, Balance, Ross-on-Wye Cider and Perry, BeerMoth, RAD Beer, Rigg & Furrow, Bluestone, BeerRiff, Crafty Devil and more. We were also involved in a group collaboration organised via Burum Collective with Bluestone, BeerRiff and Crafty Devil where we were able to raise £3157 for TransAid Cymru.
We were lucky enough to be involved with events at venues all over the UK - and even one in Italy! We’ve been to BeerMoth,The Yew Tree Inn, Axis, The Dreadnought, Bottle and Barrel, BeerRiff Taproom, PopnHops, and festivals like Little Earth Fest, From the Land, Acido Acida, Folkestone Tap Takeover and the Independent Salford Beer Festival.
James also came along to last year's CraftCon to brush up on his cider and orcharding knowledge at the University of Cirencester, an event we’re both very much looking forward to attending again later this year!
Now that we are both full-time at Wilderness, we are going to ramp up production, which should mean more regular cask availability and give us more freedom to be at different events! If you’re one of our fab trade customers and there is something you would like to see us brew more of; please get in touch any time.
This year will also bring along new blends, more co-fermentations, more collaborations, and the launch of our Wilderness subscription service!
Thank you so much to every single person who has ordered something we’ve made, whether that was directly from us or from one of our wonderful suppliers. We really appreciate you spending money with us as budgets get tighter and tighter, and we’ll continue to do our best to make products that are creative, considerate, and as always; irritatingly earnest.
